TOPIC: Trade Ingredient Tokens?

So, any update on this?  I've already ran out of place to store my current tokens, what am I going to do with the new ones next year?

You do know about the 4C combo item, don't you?<br /><br />You'll need one of all nine (I'm assuming there will be three each year for three years) in order to make the 4C combo item.<br />If my memory is correct and if no changes pop up, I think the 4C combo item will only be able to be made using one of each of the ingredient items.  This would mean that there are no alternate recipies (sp).<br /><br />JKW<br />

What is available will depend on how many 4C's I can make.  If I can make two, one will only be available with the combo ingredients.  If I can only make one, then it will have an alternate, non ingredient recipe.<br /><br />Dave

Actually, this is a question regarding the idea of trading multiples of common tokens (like swords or axes) for tokens signifying batches of commons.

That is still something I would like to do, it will depend on the next token order to see if we can fit in the number necessary to print such "trade ingredients"<br /><br />Dave

<br /><br />Oh this is just bad...now I'm gonna need all the ingredients too!<br /><br />I keep making concessions! Instead of "just rare items a cleric can use" I moved to "keep gold too" and then to "keep a full set of commons and uncommons!" then  "collect the whole set!" and then to "collect a whole plat set!" and now I'm onto collecting ingredients from every year after hearing about this uber item.<br /><br />I think I'm approaching the point of no return.  <br />

<br /><br />I think it's a good idea to do two 4C's even if you have to sacrifice one of the 1C, 2C, or 3C items, or some other specialty token (or heck, even just do 19 Uncommons instead of 20 if you need to).  It is just too cool to have an incredible 4C item that has to have all 6 ingredient tokens, especially since that is what many people have been working towards for the last two years. 

I'm getting confused... are we expecting the 4c to require six ingredients from 06 and 07 or nine ingredients from 06 07 & 08?<br /><br />2006 (3) - Ghoul Tongue, Dryder Silk & Spider Fang<br />2007 (3) - Ectoplasm, Quicksilver & Slime<br />2008 (3?)- ?<br /><br />Sounds like everyone is aiming for the 4c- I hope plenty will be on-hand!
