TOPIC: How Much Gold Do You Have?

I'm curious to find out how rich everyone is in gold and gems. Counting only money tokens (gold, jewelry, stones) what's your total gold piece worth?

1.4 million. But that dosen't take into consideration the value of the condo in Greyhawk towers.

I had 9k.  Down to 1k after some trades.<br />Haven't yet figured in the last round of token purchases.<br />Probably up to 9.5k or so.<br /><br />

Around 7000gp <br />that's not counting the stuff I've got set aside and have no intention to part with. <br />(ie, one of every gem token made, including the UR gems)

What Raven said; that total does not include what I've set aside as sets.<br />I also traded out 1k recently, so I'm down to about 8.5k.<br />

le sigh. Trading away ~3k at GC has left me po. I've probably got around 5k tops counting everything.

Um, I have a silver bar (250 gp), a garnet (100 gp), and a few gp coins.  All of my money goes for spell components as a wizard.<br />

About 10K gp in reserve tokens right now.  <br /><br />A pile of reds I would love to liquidate.  <br /><br />I am going to be more agressive at discounting the slow selling tokens next year.  <br /><br />I have 10 +1 longswords and 10 +1 greatswords.<br /><br />(Each bag of tokens is supposed to be worth about 300 gp, but the brown tokens and the green tokens (with a few exceptions) are without any real value, so you buy a $250 order of tokens you should expect to get around 3K - 4K in spendable gold.)

Between my purchase and a few other transactions I've gotten myself up to a bit over 2k.<br /><br />I guess I'm correct that unless I put together alot more coin I haven't a prayer at winning an auction?  =|<br /><br />...and here I was all proud of my meager nest egg.

<br /><br />Not a chance in hell of winning anything anyone else wants anyway. Frankly, anything short of 10k means you don't have a snowball's chance in hell of picking up a highly desired item. With 2k, you can pick up bunches of things. It's just things that aren't as sought after in general.

<br /><br />George, sell 'em on eBay.  People seem to be paying a premium for them and you are going to get more than you would at GenCon to be sure.

<br /><br />URs in the price guide are listed as being worth 1k-4k, technically putting me either at or within arms reach of many of them...but realistically I suppose they actually sell for a great deal more eh...
