TOPIC: Trade-o-Rama

Alright, thanks to Jeff for hooking me up! I now have a pile of chips after I decided to contribute to this great game with some of my own dough.<br /><br />After the dust has settled, the rares that I both didn't pick up and I want are:<br /><br />Bracers of defense +1 **<br />Helm of Clear Thought **<br />short sword +1 *<br /><br />Here are the rares I have to trade:<br /><br />- great ax +1 (platinum)<br />- ioun stone (spindle)<br />- amulet of thorns<br />- ring of fortitude<br />- ring of reflexes<br />- scroll of cure light wounds (8 points)<br />- Bastard sword +1<br />- boots of free action<br />- +1 bracer of dragonfist<br />- elven chain<br />- full plate<br />

I have a spare Bracers +1.<br />Can you afford to trade a scroll of 5pt healing to me for it?  Not a 1-for-1 match, but I don't want to drain your resources too heavily.  <br /><br />Jeff - you're the man.  Thank you for being you - and for being generous.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />

<br /><br />Well, of the plats you're looking for, I don't even have the gold versions of 3 (soon to be 2) of them, one of which, the helm, I'm looking for myself. <br /><br />On the other hand, I do have an extra 5 point scroll of cure light wounds. While I appreciate that trade, it does seem a bit lopsided. Is there anything else I can offer you? I do have a growing number of rares to the point where I would be remiss if I didn't offer you more in trade.<br /><br />Incidentally to all, I forgot to add the short sword +1 into the list of items I'm looking for. I don't need it personally but I'm helping out a friend who likes to play the part of the rogue.  =)

So... did you buy enough tokens to become a tokenholic?  Or are you saving that for when the 2008 tokens are released? 

I'm not sure what the token-o-holic threshold is, but when purchases start coming with purple tokens..yea...

So, what Purps did you get?

the horn of plenty...though I haven't actually gone through the packs thoroughly yet, so I might have gotten lucky with the 00. I also got the ring of the eye which they had run out of at Gencon.

PM sent.<br /><br />Horn of Plenty:  While you may want to hang on to it for a while, there are power players here who would gladly trade other URs for the HoP.  See Henwy's posts for an example.<br /><br />Take a good look at the HoP and the token guide's description of all the URs.  See if there's anything you want for it now.  OR, hang on to it for later as its rarity and collectability will increase in years to come.<br /><br />Have Fun!<br /><br />JKW
