TOPIC: Ebay Ring of Regeneration

<br />The value of the RoR is by far, more for how few were given out, not the fact of its usefulness (or supposed lack thereof) in the game.<br /><br />It means more to me because it was a gift from Jeff, than for what it can do for me in the dungeon.<br />

Like a thread never gets hijacked.... come on.  =D<br /><br />But - any perceived monetary value is linked to whatever overall value the owner (or hopeful owner) gives it, whether they think it has value in-game or not.

<br /><br />Depends upon the character class.  Typically, Reflex and Fortitude.<br />I've heard good arguments, however, for the Thief wearing a Ring of Reflexes with a Ring of Evasion.<br /><br />

I think the (in game) value of the ROR has gone down a lot in the last 2 years when more and more rings became available.  <br /><br />When it first come out there were not a lot of rings.  <br /><br />It is kind of like +1 protection.  When it was purple it was an obvious choice.  As other rings have become available, it is getting worn less.

There HAD to be DCs higher than 12.  I had a +6 and I missed with a roll of a 10...

the ring of regeneration is very functional in true arena, granting dr 1.
