Oh, the woman who had the Sceptre of the Dead up on eBay is the same person who has the Dwarven Ale and Stone to Flesh Scroll as singles up right now. So I think she did pull the Sceptre auction.

Actually I think it timed out...I saw it with only 13 minutes left tonight...

I was soooo tempted - NOT!

The mistake for the throwing dagger being a purple may be an honest one. If you did not know better, the inks in the final printing did not match quite right and most of the combo items were printed with a purplish cast not the true blue.

Jeff and I noticed that and discussed it at the con. Be kind, but is is worth pointing out that the combos are not purples but a class to themselves.

Dave

They are indeed. The Masterwork Spear from last year became quite coveted for its usefulness.

And the Jar of Courage from the year before is also very unique! A way to add +1 to your Ac for the whole adventure without taking a slot.

They are limited and unique for sure.

I guess this would have been the proper thread to mention that some of the new token auctions on Ebay have a very very high shipping cost of $16.42 per auction for a single token, shipped USPS Parcel Post. Some of those auctions are just for a common or uncommon token. Be sure to check the shipping prices before bidding on the auctions, don't get tricked into bidding $1 for a token and then having to pay $17.42 once shipping was added in.

I know - but someone actually paid over $3 for a Platinum Potion of Fire Resistance from this same seller, so I'm not surprised they are listing more.

By the way, for a Mom that doesn't play the game and knows nothing about these tokens - she sure has a lot of these tokens to sell. Kind of odd that she'd buy all those tokens if she wasn't even going to play.

She must be your next door neighbor for the shipping to be that low to you. Or - maybe SHE'S IN THE HOUSE WITH YOU!!!
