TOPIC: Too many f-ing tokens

I just finished packing up my token carry case and it's not only full to bursting but weighs a freaking ton. I think we should go back to woodies damnit. If I'm having trouble hauling these around, there are certainly some people out there who are going to snap their backs when they have to lift their loads.

One of the very few times I am happy I can't afford a metric buttload of tokens.<br />

I might actually have to use a convention center locker for the first time this year. Since I'm at the embassy, I don't want to have to run back to pick up anything and I can't see carrying around 40 metric tons worth of tokens around with me until I need them. Checking them into a locker would be a spiffy solution if the thing fits.

If you find they're too heavy to take back with you, I'd be willing to take a bunch off your hands.  To help you out, of course...

The handle on my token case _ SNAPPED OFF _ at the airport. I've had to lug that awkward 40-pound piece of crap ever since. Even better, the case now has a couple of sharp screws sticking out of it so I've managed to jab and almost puncture myself a couple times. I _DEFINITELY_ need to buy one of those carry cases with the wheels and the extendable handle for them next year. Just thinking about lugging the case around at gencon makes me want to cry.<br /><br />I need to rent a secure 'lock box' up in TD where I can keep my token case for when I'm not there so I don't have to carry them there and back.

Henwy,<br />      I don't know if it would fit your needs or price range, but you might consider getting a Zuca.  I saw them last year at Gencon and thought they were pretty neat.<br /><br />Kim

Eh, I took a look at their website. I'm not seeing what's special about them different from any other sort of small bag with wheels.  A while back someone posted a link on here about a case that's made for poker chips with wheels. That would probably work well and be designed to handle the weight of tokens to boot.

Are Zucas those small bags that you can sit on?<br /><br />Anyone know why wheeled bags like that are not allowed in the Exhibitors' Hall at Comic-Con?  Crowd issue?<br />
