It appears that all ultra-rares sell for well above "list" price. Of course, how else can most people even get any ultra-rare? I have never been able to get any in the dungeon. Maybe this year?<br /><br />Larry

<br /><br />Oh, cool!<br /><br />I just finished lunch, went to check my email and found a "you've been outbid" notice. Casually did some math, figured out what my max bid would be without worrying about shipping (since Forsaken has kindly agreed to bring stuff to GenCon in person), slowly logged on and adjusted my bid - to discover I'd made the high bidder with only 19 seconds left in the auction!<br /><br />I don't think I've ever changed my bid in the last hour, let alone the last minute of an auction.<br /><br />Of course, that was 30 seconds ago. Better go check to see if anyone else sniped me in those remaining 19 seconds!

What I find interesting is that not very long ago, people could spend $250, get the UR of their choice AND 30 bags which gave a 30% chance of getting another UR not to mention the 30 Rares, 60 Uncommons, and 210 Commons.<br /><br />I wonder if the people paying $132 for a UR didn't realize this promotion existed?  An extra $118 for 30 packs and a 30% chance at another UR seems like a steal to me especially for what you can sell them for on eBay which seems to be around $300 (with no UR).<br /><br />Hmm...

I am interested to see what tokens bring after Gen-Con. I am going to post all my extra's! ALL!! I am not sure if I want to do a huge lot or do several small lots....I will probably do one large lot! but it will interesting to see the great price dive in tokens!

Then there are those of us who said X is my top spending limit - and used that for pre-orders.  Since then, however, many of us have spent thousands extra.<br />I agree, however, that unless you really have to have a specific UR, now that the pre-order has ended, it's still a better deal to pay $250 for 300 tokens and 1 UR with a ~30% chance at a 2nd UR than it is to pay $200 for a single specific UR.  Again, it depends upon your desires and cash reserves.<br /><br />

On the other hand - if you really want that +2 Holy Greatsword (or some other specific token), and don't get it now, if it is discontinued after this year the price could spike well above what it is selling for now, similar to Gearon's +2 Mace, Hand of Glory, or the Dragonscale Shield.  You'd have to figure the prices are as low for those tokens as they are going to get, since they are still in print. 

Really cant see the +2 Holy Greatsword making a reappearence.  So it seems that it is valued appropriatly.
