TOPIC: +2 Long Sword for sale

Okay, before you jump on me for trying to "sell" something in the "trading" forum, hear me out.<br /><br />Through volunteering for True Dungeon, I have acquired a +2 Long Sword.  However, I don't play True Dungeon.  (Of course, we could go into a long discussion about how DMs are also playing the game, so really as a DM I do play, but I digress).  I would trade the token if I played, but since I don't, I would then have other tokens that I have no use for.    Except they are pretty...I could display them...But again, I digress.<br /><br />So, rather than have the token collect dust, I thought I'd sell it so somebody could make use of this token.  If you are interested in buying it, make me an offer.  We can either close the deal at GenCon, or we could close the deal through the mail.  I'd be willing to mail it to you with insurance.  I'll keep this offer open for a week, so until 8:00AM EDT on August 2nd.  <br /><br />And I'm not opposed to trade.  Like perhaps you have some cool True Dungeon swag that I might be interested in.  Or some old D&D modules (particularly Scourge of the Slave Lord, Against the Giants, Descent in the Depths of the Earth, Queen of the Demonweb Pit - yeah, basically any module written by Gygax).  Or any other role playing swag that an old gamer (one who remembers when D&D came out) would be interested in.  Well, if you remember when D&D hit the shelves, I didn't mean to call you old.  I apologize.  But I digress.<br /><br />So, PM me and make me a deal! <br /><br />Jenett

Just to reiterate, I have a +2 Long Sword for sale/trade.  Note, it's a 2007 token (plastic - not wooden).<br /><br />Okay, after hearing some of the offers, I think I have an idea what I might be interested in trading.  Note, several people have come close to offering me these trades, so I'm just bumping this topic and also giving people a chance to come up with a trade:<br /><br />1.)  the Drow/Giants/Queen 1st edition AD&D modules.  This includes:<br /><br />Descent into the Depths of the Earth (D1-2)<br />Vault of the Drow (D3)<br />Against the Giants (G1-2-3)<br />Queen of the Demonweb Pits (Q1)<br /><br />I recently found all 4 of the above modules in fine condition on Ebay for ~$20 a piece BIN.  So, that would be ~$80 worth of stuff.  Note, I'm not looking to collect these - just to have them to play later on when my kids get just a bit older.  So, they don't need to be shrink wrapped.  And I'd prefer the colorized ones (not the original monochrome single adventures).  <br /><br />2.)  Deities and Demigods with the Cthulhu mythos in it.  You know the one - it has 144 pages.  These can be had on Amazon for $70-$80.  I just want these cause they have Cthulhu in them... <br /><br />3.)  The Temple of Elemental Evil 1st edition module and Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil 3.0 edition module.  Amazon has the ToEE for $25 new and RthToEE for $60 new.  Note, see item 1 about why I want these.<br /><br />Thanks!<br /><br />Jenett<br />

If I had 2nd copies of each laying around, that's be great.  I'm not trading off my only copies however.<br /><br />I hope you achieve your requests.  Those are great items to have.  Let me know if you don't get it worked out with someone else - I'll see what I can do at the local college town.
