can anyone inform me as to what effect the ? special chip has done in past true dungeons<br /><br />SHERFCATAZ

It was:<br />1. a cursed item that had randomly determined positive or negative effects<br />2. a mulligan to be used in spell casting, combat, or other action.
You should know better than to pick up a duck in a dungeon....

And one year I thought it was ANY token you choose from the same color group...is that right?

If it is a swap for any purple again, weaver's head will probably explode. I've heard some hints and rumors about this year's special, but notta concrete. We've never had a UR special before. That sorta guarentees it won't be a punch in the face if nothing else.

<br /><br />I was thinking that when Gary posted the info about a pull from the same rarity a month ago.  ;)<br />Yeah.  I also figured a Purp UR would not be cursed.  I assume Jeff wouldn't do that to his fans.  Well, at least not cursed without something good or really cool as a benefit to balance it out.

Welp, it would be one thing if it were cursed, but at one point he actually recommended that I pick the Special as my UR of choice during the pre-orders. So the effect of the special becomes a reflection upon his opinion of me of sorts. If it's super-good, he must obviously worship me. If it's super-bad, he was trying to hose me :P.

the whole party gets an UR token when the "?" special UR is used this year.  .... if only.

LOL, Henwy!<br /><br />Zoycite - that actually was a big wish of mine.  How cool would that be?  I mean, you use your UR when you're with the player coach.  It could very well allow for such a thing.  It's (to quote Jeff I think) "the most powerful Special yet."  That would be so awesome.<br /><br /><br />JKW
