Well I think I am going to ammend my request to include 1, 2, 3, and 4gp tokens.  I am looking for fairly large quantities (a few hundred worth).  Let me know what you want in return, but money is probably all I have that you might want.<br /><br />

I think I know what he wants to do with all these chips. If you remember the tv show "Duck Tales" Scrooge McDuck (who is the richest duck on the planet) had a money bin full of coins that he would swim in. This is also the first thing I would do if I won the lottery. Basically Jester is going to fill a pool full of chips and swim in them. First, I am extremly jealous. Second, I will only give up my four 1gp chips if I can be invited to swim in them as well.<br /><br />SHERFCATAZ

You're going to have a hard time finding lots of 1,2,3 and 4 gps.<br /><br />O5' was the time. In the last couple years they have been shifting toward higher denominations. And also older used/turned in wooden tokens were destroyed. And with the auction last year alot of GP was turned in! <br />And with the reserve tokens, alot of people are saving their GP for the bars.<br /><br />So he's going to have a difficult time if he's hoping to fill a pool with wooden 1-4 GPS.

Actually 1 2 3 4 GP were last made together in 2004.<br /><br />

Yes, but in 05 because of the shops there were a ton of the lower denominations around.

If I'm not mistaken, 1gp was made in '03, '04, '05a, 05b, and '06.  There should still be quite a few in circulation.<br />2gp was made in '03, '04, '05a, and last in '05b.  So they're pretty sparse now.<br />3gp was made in '03 and '04, skipped in '05, and returned in '06.  Shouldn't be too hard to find spider-back 3gp.<br />4gp was only made in '03 and '04 (along with 6gp, 7gp, and 9gp).  It's probably going to be VERY hard to find any more than just a few of those. <br /><br />If anybody has better info than that, post corrections. <br /><br />Were the old wood coins from last year's auction really destroyed?  I hadn't heard that.  <br />

It is also in the collector's matrix in the back of the Token guide.<br /><br />Many of the older GP tokens were taken out of circulation as a result of the auction.  I know many tokens from earlier runs have been destroyed, but some are being saved for a "big event" in the future, I am not sure what that is though.<br /><br />I would guess that Gold and Gem tokens have probably been retained, and the rest destroyed.<br /><br />Dave
