Highlights from Lot #3 include Potion of Death's Door, Amulet of Thorns, Potion of Cure Light Wounds (5pts), Scroll of Cure Light Wounds (5pts), +1 Cloak of Resistance, Scroll of Remove Curse, Great Sword, PLATINUM Potion of Detect Secret Doors, PLATINUM Hammer and Spike, PLATINUM Short Bow, Dwarven Rations, and Potion Cure Minor Wounds (1pt).  Note all the healing potions and scrolls to raise your hit points after the Death's Door brings you back from the dead.  <br /><br /> cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=180135354498&rd=1&rd=1 <br /><br /><br />I see this lot is currently at $41.  <br />My estimated value was around $50.00+.<br />The PoDD would save the cost of the ticket.  Theres at least two 5pt healing scrolls.  Oh, and the Amulet of Thorns, which will likely help kill off beasties faster, hence saving part members from damage.<br /><br />No; I am not bidding on it (have enough of each for now), but it IS, IMHO, the best (or one of the best) package out there at this time.  I'd grab it if I didn't have many tokens.<br />

Hmmm, well that looks terrible - sorry!  You'll see no final values on the auctions ending after the 6th (faulty crystal ball), so that explains some of the poor formatting problems.

What you don't know is that I've already tossed down a $30 opening bid for the PoDD, Scroll CLW 8, 2x Scroll CLW 5.  <br /><br />Of course, I expect the final bid to be higher...as I said, mine was an opening bid.<br /><br />I also threw down a $12.00 opening bid on the 1,000 GP and the Longbow+1 & Heavy Repeating Crossbow with nice missiles.  Yeah, I expect the ranges set to go for more money.  <br /><br /><br />JKW<br />

<br /><br />Sorry for throwing off your table, Binia  =)<br /><br />I'd be careful about extrapolating the value of the Rares from the sale prices.  I'm sure that is the majority of the reason for the final prices, but in some of the auctions I think the uncommons and commons play more of a role in the final price than in others.  For instance, in Lot 16, I think the 3 Sleep Arrows, 3 Masterwork Bolts and 8 Masterwork arrows will add to the price.  In Lot 14, the 27 non-Rare gold and gem tokens will add quite a bit to the price.  In Lot 19, the 9 non-Rare healing tokens will probably add quite a bit to the price (they should at least).  <br /><br />That said, your table is great, thanks for doing it!  One good thing about the recent auctions is it will give an idea of the actual dollar value for a number of these tokens.  Your table is a nice summary for people too if they are looking to buy any particular Rares.  <br /><br />Thanks!<br />Mike

<br /><br />Mike - I think you're right about the content/quality of the uncommons and commons making a difference in the selling price.  A good example is the 'mage' lot, with no rares, that someone is willing to pay a total of $7.99 for (so far), between bid and shipping.  And it's nearly all what I think of as consumables, stuff that you use once and lose your investment (is that for sure the case - does the gm actually take away your token once you use it?).  <br /><br />Looks like you're going to be gettng some good prices for the stuff you have ending today, Mike - congratulations!  It'll be interesting to see if these high prices hold, go down, or even go up.  Seems like anything is possible, with more and more people getting excited about the upcoming con and starting to plan ahead.  <br /><br />Binia
