Hmmm ... you might want to think about that.  No matter whether you or your friends play the Cleric / Druid / Wizard, as long as you have a Ring of Focus with you, you can loan it to whomever is casting the spell for just as long as it takes for them to cast the spell, and it should result in about 12 extra points of healing for the party per dungeon and about 5-6 points of extra damage per dungeon.  I never play any of the spellcasters, but I picked up a Ring of Focus so that the party could get all that extra healing / damage without the need of any consumables.  I'd never trade my Ring of Focus, but I got the 2nd one in a 00 bag - and there's no need to have more than one of these to float around per party.  <br /><br />

<br />I took a look and the only thing that brings any real interest is the ring of focus. The problem is I don't play cleric or druid and don't plan on it. Those beads were whack. None of my core friends play either class to boot. We usually find someone to fill the slot. Seems sorta blah to pick up something that only a third party would use.<br /><br />

<br /><br />Yeah.  You need to display the rings you're wearing, but from what I understand you can swap the rings out as needed. So if a Cleric were going to cast a heal spell, they would replace whatever ring they were wearing for the Ring of Focus, and then swap back when done.  The only item I know of that you have to wear throughout the room to get the effect is the Horn of Plenty.

<br /><br />That's cool, just let me know.<br /><br />If you only took 10 points of damage in the runs - I'd say your group is a LOT better at the traps and puzzles than my groups have been.  We usually take a lot more damage from failed puzzles and traps than combat, and our healers always use all their healing spells, so I'm glad they'll all be worth an extra point of healing per spell now.

<br /><br />If, somehow, you're still on the fence regarding the trade, I've got a whole stack of daggers & leather armor I could toss in to seal the deal...

At this point, I guess I'll just hope to use the spare horn as rope a dope. Put it on someone else who dosen't have one and talk them into giving me the extra tokens.

Hmmm. Anyone know if there will be new ingredient tokens this year? I know there have been some difficulties in getting new tokens printed up but the idea of having more treasure box draws got me thinking. I guess I'll need to pick up one of the new ingredients if there are any for each set of last year's in order to do the 4c.

sounds like 3 new ingredients this year... not 100% sure...
