TOPIC: 2023 Completion Tokens Inquiry

2023 Completion Tokens Inquiry 1 year 3 weeks ago #1

Hey folks, I’ve noticed that there are several completion tokens listed in the TokenDB such as Ioun Stone Ruby Pyramid and IS Ruby Spindle but can’t seem to find them for trade anywhere.

I assume this means we haven’t seen them yet as they are part upcoming events, but can someone please verify? Are they out in the wild? Thanks!

Not in the wild yet. But if you check the details of future events under Upcoming Events, you can see current plans for their release.

isn't there supposed to be a transmute that would take of each completion token from 2023?

I believe it is each VTD completion only.

tokendb.com/token/orb-of-annihilation/

"The exact recipe for transmuting this token shall be released at a later date. However, among other things, this recipe is going to require one Participation token from every VTD event in calendar year 2023."

In addition to the Upcoming Events link - truedungeon.com/upcoming-events - you can use this filter on tokendb.com, and also filter by Completion and 2023 on www.TrueDungeonTokens.com to see all of the Completion tokens this year (see below screenshot as well).

It's unfortunate that they stopped giving both the UC and R completion tokens for NM runs. I just traded one of my completion tokens for stalker bits (NBD - just going to need to get one back!)

It was (us) the players fault. Some people were pressuring new players to play at hardcore just to get both tokens.
So, we the players are to blame

Tot3: charm of distant melody
Tot4: Charm of providence

Also does anyone know how many completion tokens we should have? Cause we won't have a vtd June or july

They were actually being pressured to play Nightmare level to get both tokens. Hardcore just gave the single Rare token. I'm glad the change was made, I think it's good for the player experience. I've always thought players should play at whatever difficulty level they enjoy the most, not choose a higher difficulty level mainly because they want a higher reward level.
