TOPIC: Question on Meta Puzzle from Years Past

Hello All,

I've been wondering about something for a few years now and wonder if anyone can chime in with the answer or their speculation.

Back in 2017 Jeff posted this riddle clue in the forums, I think on Christmas:

I took this to mean there would be an in person thing that could be done once the 7th tooth of Cavadar was released, probably at Gen Con.

Unfortunately the 7th Tooth was released in the 2021 token year and there was no TD at Gen Con that year due to the pandemic. I believe elsewhere Jeff mentioned he had some plans for the meta puzzle that got scrapped as a result.

Anyway - my questions were:

1. Do you think the Emerald , Ruby , and Sapphire Skull tokens would have been used in the solution to this puzzle?

2. Do you think any extra credit or something would have been granted for a solution that placed players heads on stands along with Scroll Mind Blank ?

I think this was the end of what Chad, Raven and Mike did at Skull Con.

Yep, it was supposed to be earlier at GENCON, but COVID derailed that.

The Clear Heads it is referring to are the crystal Skulls that Chad and I got for solving the part of the puzzle before this. We still have them, they're nice mementos of the whole quest. I'd LOVE to have one of the skulls we stacked also.

You're off by a year with guessing a use for those tokens (and one more). The Christmas 2018 riddle Jeff left us was:

When solved you have the floor with time
A boon be gained from this small rhyme
Upon a corner skull of blue
Onyx, emerald and ruby, too
And when all four are covered hence
A boon you gain for your defense

But that wound up being a one-off puzzle rather than part of the longer-running meta.
