Taking effect after Skull Con, Focus are becoming universal. Even if the token didn't originally specify so in its text, all tokens that grant a Focus effect now include this in their TDb entry:
Focus: For each 1 point of Focus a character has, damage Spells they cast deal +1 Damage, Healing Spells they cast heal +1 HP, while polymorphed, they deal +1 Damage when they physically attack, and Turn Undead deals +1 Damage. Focus has no effect on magic emanating from items, scrolls, or Spells cast by the character which neither reduce nor restore HP.

If a Spell or Turn Undead under the influence of a Focus-effect can affect more than one target, the caster gets a total of X (where X = the total amount of Focus the caster has) extra points of healing/damage, not +X points per target. The caster chooses the recipient of the extra points and may allocate them as they see fit to an eligible recipient.

Unless specifically noted otherwise, all sources of Focus stack as long as they come from differently named sources.

I know change is always bad and we're horrible people for forcing this egregious mutilation of rules on you, but we felt having a consistent effect for the word "Focus" would benefit the game in the long run.

If you feel like you need assistance with coping with this devastating alteration of precedent, councilors are standing by. Well, they're probably sitting, but you get the idea.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

By now, do you mean Skull Con?

This changes some existing builds' stats which affects apps.

Emphasis added on Turn Undead. This seems like an update from the QTR release on June 2. Should we assume it is intentional?

Will we see an updated version of the QTR that accounts for this?

Thanks!

Good question!

So the programmers don't send assassins after me (again), we'll say this change goes into effect after Skull Con.

Sort of an update, but definitely intentional.

Focus has affected Turn Undead for over a year now . The fact that TU wasn't mentioned in the QTR's Focus definition was because I forgot to add it. Thanks for the heads-up.

It seems like a really good idea to make it consistent across the tokens. I had no idea that it affected Turn Undead also.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that change. Which, as Mike Steele notes above, is a very good reason to have it in the Focus description :D

I'm also a fan of keywords providing consistent effects. It never did make much sense as to why some Focus tokens provided bonuses that others did not ;)

With focus being codified to buff Turn Undead, is the spell damage piece being removed? For example, do Muk's, Bot4W, or eldrich set bonus still increase turn undead damage? I'm more curious than concerned, for what its worth.

While we are adjusting focus, is there any chance we could get Bard retroactively added to Ring of Focus, Greater Ring of Focus, and Relsa's Ring of Supreme Focus?

Pretty please?
