TOPIC: A couple of noob questions

Hi , everyone!

I have a couple of questions:
1. Is it safe to say that if the monster bits I have don't have a 'Ingredient For' line on tokendb, I should just exchange them for Golden Fleece? I have Alien Protoplasm, Atar Horn, Blight Bud, C'tharki Blood, Dryad Hair, Giant Blood, Idol Eye, Scrael Claw, Shard of Annihilation, Siren Tears, Troll Shaman Finger.
2. When will the 2021 UR tokens stop being available in 8K augmented auctions? I would like to get a few, but need to save money for Gen con.

1. I don't believe there are going to be any future transmutes from any of those bits.

2. 2021 UR tokens will stop being available when we get the new year's tokens, so probably around December. You've got plenty of time.

Won't the 2022 bits show up in 2023 recipes, which we don't have yet?

2020 and 2021 bits will not be used in the future. 2022 bits WILL be used in 2023 and possibly in a multi year transmute

The 2022 monster trophies will probably be ingredients in 2023 3* and 4* transmute recipes, although you might be able use GP instead. 2022 monster trophies might also be part of a multi-year transmute involving monster trophies from 2022-202x (probably 3-4 years, but we don’t know yet). So you may wish to save your 2022 bits for a while, at least until we have the 2023 recipes and/or we learn what the multi-year transmute is.

FYI the multi year transmute is generally NOT announced until all bits are available for it. So most hold those on speculation

2020 Monster Trophies (Automaton Gear, Automaton Oil, Darkrift Ingot, Death Cloak Fabric, Ethereal Ooze, and Semi-Lich Dust) are used to make 2021 Enhanced (3 pt. Shirt of the Elder) and Exalted (4 pt. Greater Ring of Reflexes, Master Ale Drinker's Bead, Master Drinker's Gloves) Transmutes. The deadline for making these is December 1, 2022.

2021 Monster Trophies (Alien Goo, Basilisk Eye, Harpy Feather, Stone Guardian Chip, Wight Dust, and Yeti Fang) are used to make 2022 Enhanced (3 pt. Charm of the Fire Newt) and Exalted (4 pt. Bead of Greater Binding and Ring of Last Call) Transmutes. The deadline for making these is December 1, 2023.

2022 Monster Trophies (Alien Protoplasm, Atar Horn, C'tharki Blood, Cyborg Spittle, Dryad Hair, Idol Eye, Shard of Annihilation and Sieren Tears) are used to make 2023 Enhanced (3 pt. Amulet of Magnifying and Hat of the Lucky Pirate) and Exalted (4 pt. Ring of Sieren Bane) Transmutes. The deadline for making these is December 1, 2024. The recipes for these have not been announced yet.

If you plan to make any of the transmutes that use 2020 or 2021 Monster Trophies, I have them and will trade them to you (1 for 1) for the four that are not longer transmutable except for Golden Fleece (Blight Bud, Giant Blood, Scrael Claw, and Troll Shaman Finger) or any others you have. I will be at GenCon and am a volunteer for Local Install.

If I were you I would hang onto the 2022 Monster Trophies to see what is needed for transmutes you may want to make.

The 2023 PreSale Auctions usually start in November.

I wouldn’t bet December. Last year was September or October and the orders were placed by TD earlier this year than last year for token manufacturing. My guess is plan to get pyps for 2021 no later than early September.
