TOPIC: "4C" Transmute for 2022?

A lot of folks have been asking if they should hold onto their recent monster trophies in case we're going to do a "4C" transmute.

So here's the deal... we'd like to, but we didn't actually design one during the design process earlier this year because of COVID and the WAAAAAAY early deadline we had to get the 2022 tokens to the printer. We may be able to put one together, but it depends on a number of factors which I can't go into. I can tell you that if we wind up doing a 4C this year, it's not going to be the typical powerful token like 4Cs have been in the past. This one would be more of a "fun" token than a powerful token.

If that sounds like something you would like to make, save your recent monster trophies. Again, I'm not saying this will for sure happen, but if there is interest, we may be able to make it happen. If a "fun" 4C is not something that holds your interest, you're safe to convert them into Golden Fleece.

I think the question was about a multi-year relic; such as draco-lich claw charm, icecrag hero earcuff, and bead of the lucky traveler.
The next in that series could be another year out.

Earcuff of Heroism would be another fantastic option, even if it required some trade goods / completion tokens in addition to the bits.

Yeah that’s what I was expecting too. So it doesn’t need to be 2022.

Druegar, can you expand the thought process on powerful vs fun. I take it from your comment that it has not been designed yet.

@Everyone else, what are some ideas?

And normally I prefer to not change rulings, but a 4C that includes (as optional?) 2020 MBs would be great.

I love the idea of a possible fun token this year. Honestly though thats more then I think most people were hoping for when asking for another 4C.

Personally with 2020 bits being used for the ravager, I would view a new 4C as just starting with 2021 bits (thus still being 3 years out), but honestly I'm sure whatever you guys come up with will be fun

I would like a new Ring of Heroism equivalent in 2023. Earcuff of Heroism or Bead of Heroism would be awesome. It could use all the monster bits from 2020-2022.

Possibly a token that allows one to go into a drawing to try to drop Jeff into a dunking booth type fun?

A food item?

A hat that matches the Aron's Sunhide Robes with no in game benefit?

A cane with a big old fake gem on top you could use to point at things but not attack?

Lounge slippers?
