I want to double check some token interaction. The Shirt of the Fae says I can cast when Polymorphed. Would this effect work when the Greater Shaman Necklace is the reason for the polymorph? It sounds like the shirt doesn't care why you are polymorphed so it should work.

Yes, you may cast when polymorphed.

However, as the polymorph action from the Shaman's Greater Necklace is an instantaneous action (see HERE ), there is no need for the shirt. You can simply polymorph as you like, polymorph out to cast, and then polymorph back in.
