TOPIC: October 2020 Updates to www.TrueDungeonTokens.com

Hello everyone!

October is here, and with it comes some new updates to TrueDungeonTokens.com!
With this update, we wanted to make it easier for you to find the tokens you want. So, we changed how searches work for token names and added options to choose which groups of filters and types of tokens you see. We also added a way to reset your password from the login screen and included a fun new tidbit in your Collection statistics.

Search partial token names
You can now search for a token with any part of the token name, not just exact words in the exact order on the token. For example, you can enter "Bead Lucky" instead of "Bead of the Lucky". This works with words in any order; you could also enter "lucky bead" and get the same results.


Note that the search only ignores missing words and word order when searching text in token names. Text in the token descriptions still needs to match the exact words and order so you don't get irrelevant results.

Choose which filters and token types you see
You told us that while you appreciate the extensive filters and comprehensive token list, sometimes you want a bit more focus. To help with that, you can now choose which filters display and what token types you want included in your search results:

1. Click your Profile tab
2. Scroll down to the Show Filters or Include in Search Results area
3. Uncheck the boxes for the filters and/or token types you do not want to see
4. Go back to your Tokens tab

We sorted the filters into groups to help you choose which ones you see based on what you want to do. If you're reviewing your collection to build a character, you may want to focus on Buffs and Protection. If you just got your loot from a run, you could turn on Distribution to filter for that specific adventure. There are some Default filters for essential token details that you can't turn off.


We also understand that many of us may never add some tokens to our collections, such as Artifacts Soulforged to specific people or the extremely rare Artisan tokens. Some of you also told us you want to see one token per year instead each different back color. And some of you don't have an interest in woodies at all!

So, you can now choose which types of tokens you want to see in your search results. Just uncheck the boxes for the token types you don't want to see. (Note that some tokens only come in Onyx or Platinum backs, so we only hide alternate back colors for tokens that came from standard packs.)


If you run a search that finds a token you chose to hide, you will see a reminder message after your search results. For example, I've ignored Artisan tokens but did a search for "seylah", which normally would have found the "Shimmering Cestus" Artisan token. Instead, the Artisan token doesn’t show but a message reminds me I chose to ignore it:


Password reset
We've now added a link to the log in page to reset your password:


To reset your password:

1. Click the Forgot your password? link
2. Enter your username or the email address you used to sign up for an account, then click Reset My Password
   Tip: if you don't remember your username or the email address you used, there's a link to email us and get some help
3. You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password; the link will expire after 1 hour

New collection statistics
Finally, we added a fun little tidbit to your collection details: the total value of the GP in your collection. As you can see, I have a rather modest sum compared to the dragon hoards I'm sure many of you accumulate:


And since we mentioned statistics… 134 people have created accounts since the official launch on July 10th (7 since the last update) and we now have 39,096 tokens recorded (or 32,573 without Trent’s!)
