TOPIC: Patron Token ?

Can someone remind what the 2019 and 2018 Patron tokens were? I have 1 of them I think but I don't remember from which year and I don't remember what it was.

Do you mean like the mask token last year for AG purchases?

No there were they were the completion tokens given for doing the Patron run. I think the Amulet of Plane Shifting is the 2018. The 2019 might be Shoes of Nethercraft. But I am not certain.

Was it shoes of Serpent? Were they also the completion token for another event? I have at least 10 of them so I don't know how. I do only have 1 Shoes of Speed but that is a 2018 token. I am so confused...lol.

Shoes of the Serpent were definitely the 2019 Shadowlands II participation token. I know a few were found in the treasure boxes, but if you have 10, that is confusing.

Yes, Shoes of Speed is a 2018 token. It was part of The Moongate Maze (2017 - 2018) Adventure module and first appeared at the 2018 Origins Game Fair.

However, as we know random tokens can end up in treasure boxes, and sometimes random completion tokens are handed out when they run out of the first round of completion tokens. I'm not saying that's what happened with your 10 Shoes of Serpent, but anything's possible when you're having fun!

I am 90% certain that I got some of the shoes of the serpent at Game Hole Con late Saturday or Sunday when they ran out of the existing completion token. I'd assume if you attended that's where your others are from

I too am 100% certain of the tokens distributed as trent said.

I do believe that the shoes of the serpents were also given out as completion tokens somewhere later in the season.

I think completion tokens got all messed up in 2019 - if I recall correctly not all the Gen Con ones made it to the Con and others were substituted in some dungeons on some days.
