TOPIC: The reserve bank of transmuting question

The reserve bank of transmuting question 4 years 5 months ago #1

So did a ton of transmuting at GHC and Origins now...my curiousity is what happens to the transmuted items. For example I trade in 25 uncommon weapons...

Are they recirculated? How?

Other than the replacement tokens(like CoA) are any destroyed?

The answers to this create fundamental choices on transmuting for me.

Some are destroyed. Some we believe are used to make the treasure pool since we have been asked to separate and label the current year in the past, but I don’t believe TD has actually confirmed this. Eventually those are even destroyed as they are only good for a year.

I am curious. Why does this “create a fundamental choice” for you?

One might assume.there are tokens he would rather keep than receive as treasure again.

In the past some have been recycled for use in props. For example several years ago there was a dragon sitting on a rather large token horde. I have also seen bulk commons used for weight bags in hollow pillars and the like. That said the vast majority do (as far as I know) end up in the landfills.

It determines for me if they should be held or if they grow more and more rare if I burn them. Recycle to the treasure banks...could cause a slew of chips in volume reducing the variety later in the season.

If they are destroyed, it is the same effect as measuring M1 money
