Would be neat if this belt was its OWN slot expander and could be used with another belt.

That makes a lot more sense than wearing two cloaks in practical reality.

Just buy a bigger second belt!

I think it's a fun token, which might have a spot in some non-STR builds.

At least for a few more years, UR based STR builds will probably do better even with UR Girdle of Stone Giant Strength.

As others have pointed out slot ex panders net you your worst Nth items in the slot, not the best ones - you were already equipping the best ones anyway.

I also agree it feels weak at relic, we've got:

UR ear: +2 Ioun
UR ear: +2 Charm
UR wrist: +2 Ioun
UR wrist: +2 Charm
UR Neck: +3 Charm

And now Relic Waist: +1 Charm, +2 Ioun. Seems relic waist is roughly equivalent to UR neck here? I guess that scans comparing +5 STR belt to Stu-Pendous Pendant / Medallion of Valhalla.

I'm excited others are really excited about this token, however I forecast these going for under $200 on the secondary market in a few years (that could change if we get a few more UR melee boosters in Charm/Ioun and/or a relic/legendary Charms/Iouns that are autoinclude).

You are probably correct, but that said I feel like sub 200 would be great value for money given the effective 12 bits + Aragonite + 5k even at todays prices thats give of take 200 by itself to say nothing of the + 2 bismuth + 2 oil + other trade goods. And when you consider the potential upside this belt is going to have at some point in he future if there is ever an arcanum item in the charm or ioun slot (which seems likely given we nearly started with one)...

Would like to make one but don’t see that really happening with the materials needed and the amount of treasure draws which will range from 6-21 on the runs and still needing 3 mb for the bead

Suspenders.

Give us a legendary Transmute that combines two belts into a pair of suspenders.

I’d like to point out that if we’re looking at a max of 9 Ioun Stones and 10 Charms, the only way to get to the max slots on both charms and Iouns is to use Orion’s Belt, since you can’t wear two wrist items. Though actually, you’re not at max even then on charms, since you’d have to give up and item that gives you +2 slots and only gain 1 back from the belt.

Please don’t take this as me slapping peoples hands . I am honestly puzzled and concerned over some comments.

Why are people snipping at the end result of the relic? We talked all along about having realistic expectations of what the recipe could be. So what if it’s not the strongest relic? It’s WAY better than charms of transmorph.

This could of been so much worse for finding 6 uncommon treasure bits in the mix. A lot of work and effort went into the process of this +1 extra transmute option freely developed for the masses.

I found the end result to be a pleasant surprise to this 2 month treasure hunt.

Sure - and then your like, 9th best charm and 7th and 8th best Iouns have to be better for your build than, for example, the +3 Orge Mage belt.

I'm finding a hard time imagining that being the case today for melee builds. Could change with more Iouns/Charms.

Honestly, feels like fatigue when it was thought that token design was done and we didn't (for at least a short time) partake in the endless game of debating tokens.

I was honestly very happy when i saw that relic fragments are useful as bit wildcards. So much better than charms of transmorth and feels useful/rewarding even if you just pull 1 or a sets of the things.

Also not helped i think that this is classified as a relic (see normal pause in token debates and now this is a new 'flare up'.

It is what it is at this point. Counting down the days till we can can actually run the dungeon and put some tokens back to use. See some of you in Indy or PAX.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven
