Tips or an app on how to keep track of tokens.

If I play this class, then I can lend these out.

if they are on the run with you, what i do is i keep everything but the weapons. they dont need anything like that.
if it is people I dont know. I just have them use a weapon from the coaches/what they get in their packs

*TEs are not supposed to be loaned out unless you are on that run *

Personally I’m going to be bringing a clamshell and some medallions I picked up from Nick Videcak. I also have printed up cards I’m just going to hand the coach with all the relevant pluses for the party card.

I like how we got different translations of Jon's question. And I got a completely different read than the ones so far.

I took it as: in the case of a PUG, since I don't know what class I'll be playing until I get to the room, is there an easy way for me to know quickly "oh, since I'm playing Bard, that means I can loan out tokens X, Y, and Z".

Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer to that question. What I do is have loaner builds for most classes and have them entered into one of the character builders. I can easily see which tokens are in those builds. But those loaner builds are all based around me playing a certain class as my primary. So if I'm not playing that class, then there are likely some number of additional tokens that I could be loaning out that aren't in the loaner builds.

I don’t know your use case.

I suppose you could build 10 or 12 chars all around the same core tokens, with mostly just differences in weapons, armor, and a few class-specifics.

Then put your core tokens in one baggie/binder page/whatever, and everything else in another.

When you know what you’re playing, pull out your list and remove what you’re using. Whatever is left is loanable.

But I’d caution against wholesale loaning of tokens in PUGs. It adds stress and can get super confusing and complicated. I’d target one or two tokens for lending.

E.g. in 2012, the only thing I loaned out were Topaz Spheres. -10 Darkrift was huge that year, and it helped a lot.

If you have TEs, offer those. Synergy tokens? Great. Widseth’s or Rogue Tools? Mistletoe? Honestly, just one or two things.

If you can organize the group in the forums ahead of time, go nuts. Lend everything you’ve got. But in the pressure cooker of the coaching room, keep it simple unless you have full builds with printed cheat sheets. People will forget their conditional equipment, and swapping your stuff for theirs and getting it all back later is more stress.

But as someone who used to do what I’m afraid you may be trying to do, I just have two words of advice. First, “don’t.” Second, “please.” Every time I went overboard, I regretted it.

For organization, i use: 40 compartment box

I stack each slot in a different compartment, and even in app equip order. Meaning first compartment is head, next compartment is eyes, then ear and ear...
Your armor compartment could have 5 different tokens that tou change up depending on what class you play, but then it should be fairly easy to check if you have anything to loan.
And maybe every one of your builds uses the same 2 earcuffs, so that would be a short stack, but then you can always toss in a couple earcuff of vitality for loaning.

Also, as brad mentioned, please dont try and arrange massive loaning in the coach room. It will stress you out. I have spent many years trying various strategies to do just that. I have finally settled on...
1. Keep tokens organized for quick viewing in coaching room so you know what is available or where to look quickly (if tokens are in multiple sealed containers/bags, dont bother).
2. Only loan tokens that stay in your possession, or if loaning a weapon dont be sad if you dont get it back.
3. Narrow the scope of what you even have available to loan...
a. No corner case abilities, they will be forgotten anyway.
b. Only modify party card if it is really important...this is mostly if you are helping a new player equip for hardcore, loaning enough to get their stats close enough to the well equipped players.
c. HP bonuses are king for loaning...most of my loaner tokens are now +hp. This helps keep everyone alive, doesnt skew their combat to be too easy, and doesnt affect the party card. You can just go around the group asking if they have open slots for hp tokens: ioun stone, earcuff, ring, and charm are all great for this. In PUGs, once the party card is done, i can quickly take a poll of everyones hp, verify slot limits on the lowest, and start announcing to each player 'you get +13 for a charm and ring', 'you get +8 for a ring and earcuff', etc.
this is not a signature.

I'm going to have tokens available to loan for the first time this year - I have loaner shirts of linked healing, pants off Blisswalk, and ioun stone agate orbs.

I'm hoping this reduces my healing load (I'm planning on running cleric) For 1 booster players, and I hope An extra 6 healing isn't too much over head for them

I’m not going to be loaning full builds, because it’s more stuff to carry than I want to carry.

The other thing I’m doing on my loaner tokens is mostly focusing on tokens that go directly to the party card or improves HP. Basically trying to make life easier on the players.

I’m sure you know but it might not be clear to someone who is new. If you use an app having a print out of the pluses is fine but in order to get the plus one hit point you do have to have a list of the Tokens which creates all the bonuses.

Maybe my printing cheat sheets to put in front on the players for the coach to use when filling out the party card is a bad idea. It just seemed to me like it might make it easier. I’ll take the stuff with me to origins and see if it makes it harder or easier for the coach, if it make it harder I’ll just throw the cheat sheets away.

I have the sheets from tdtavern that I have sets up where for most of the 'core build' for two-three of us that play on things that don't change much, you just pull one row out and each person/class uses the whole row. Makes it easier if we only have two, that I know the third row can be lent. Other sheets have 'class specifics' in their own row, so those can be pulled for that class 'rogue row', 'monk row' and so on and used from there. If not class specific I have other rows of plate, mail, cloth wearer type things or spellcaster/melee use items that I can just pull the row out and lend and it's not on something I'm using. Not fully down to I'm not playing x class but a bit closer.
