TOPIC: Gold Back Trade Tokens to Brown Backs

I am trying to find the location on TD so I can trade in my gold backs for brown backs.

I assume I would have to do this for my rings of wishes?

I would assume you go to the TEP page, select the number of each you want to trade, and initiate the order. As long as the day hasn’t passed. Put all the tokens in the mail (per the TEP instructions for safe shipping) and send them in to True Adventures.

I think if they see an exchange with brown tokens wanted in the same quantity as gold tokens, and the gold tokens are not fakes, they will honor them.

I am not a member of True Adventures, just a forum junkie.

Ed, you're correct regarding the Wish Ring. Per TokenDB on the Wish Ring entry:

In 2017, all Trade and Reserve tokens were redesigned with new high-rez artwork and chocolate-brown backs. Owners of the old, gold-backed versions can use their existing stock in transmuted recipes before December 1st, 2018. One-to-one exchanges can be done starting in September 2017. After December 1st, 2018, the old versions will no longer be exchangeable and may not be used in transmuted recipes nor used to make wishes. There is no charge to make the exchange, but if you want them to be mailed to you, you will need to pay for shipping. If you add this exchange as part of another order, they can all be shipped for the same price. You may also make the exchange in person at most TD events.
