That would have been for last year's doc anyway. A great pull. This doc should only have N1 on it because it is a different treasure box than for Moongate and Dancing.

Minor point and only applies to some, but Shadowlands also gave out 2018 treasure chips, so that is also in my total.

Very valid so Shadowlands and N1 for Origins 2018.

jedibcg wrote: Everyone should find Fred K and have him pull for you. In 38 pulls he got 3 UR's. Impressive, most impressive. He is the only one that has thus far contributed that pulled anything greater than an UR as well.

We have a bit more data. Odds in getting 1 Charm are about 3 in 100 based on 750 pulls. Please add your pulls if you haven't.

My Origins draws were definitely an anomoly. In the past 2 years, I had the same total number of draws and got ZERO URs and only 6 or 7 monster bits. I'm definitely happy with the results, though :)

Interesting, I thought it was just the 2017 box but the 2018 box was even better. I suspect my luck won't be as good at GenCon, though.

I thought the big change was the level of monster bits. The resale market for them should drop like a stone since 1 out of every 5 draws is a monster bit right now. Every 50 draws should give you a golden fleece reducing it's relative value to about $40-$50 and each monster bit to around $4-$5. Good for me since I have some transmuting to do!

I hope everyone else had luck in their draws as well!

The stats can't be right on this. Out of a thousand pulls, only 3 UR's? That seems incredibly low. On top of that, they were clumped to be all at once.

You can look through the numbers. I didn't see anyone else reporting to pull anything. There are folks that I know pulled stuff, they just aren't reporting it.

Overall, I'm far more pleased with how the percentages are looking for the N1 box. If it stays this way for Gen Con, it will wash out the bad taste of last year's pulls. ;)

Really hard to judge. I'm very disappointed with my Other %, but very happy with monster bits. I'm hoping that balances out a little at Gen Con. But overall I really have no complaints. I pulled exceptionally well at Origins last year, very poorly at Gen Con, really well at GHC and now not too well at Origins this year. I'd be happy if that trend continued and my pulls got better at Gen Con. But prior to last year I went through several consecutive years of bad pulls. I am still waiting to see if I ever pull another UR out of a starter pack. I pulled one back 2006 and haven't pulled one since. I'm certain I've done over 100 runs since then, so I hope one comes along again soon.

We are under-performing in UR and greater at Origins 2018 vs Gen Con 2017, and GHC 2017. I think monster pits are too high if it is really 24% vs the 18% we saw over all cons last year. I know this is a small data pull for Origins. The Other though is WAY higher. This is mostly because rares and uncommons are down to 60% of total treasure vs 75%. I don't know how I feel about all this. I guess it will partially depend on what the 10 charms do as they are making up 3% of total pulls or 1/5 of the Other pulls.

Your other percent (compared to the average) did suck Dave. I recommend finding someone else to pull your treasure for you. :D You didn't mark the Amulet of Dragonward or the Ale Master Earcuff as Rares did you and not count them towards your other?

I'd rather get less uncommon/rare from the set and more box only uncommon/rare, though, and that makes a difference for me. I don't have much luck with the UR or other higher rarity stuff, so if what I am pulling feels more box only, I'm happy. :)

No, I double checked. No amulet or earcuff. I think I'd have felt better if i pulled more than the 1 charm. I tried one premade bag of 50, had TD volunteer grab about 40 out of a box for me and then individually pulled about 30 out of a box. Luck was the same each way. Eventually I took my final 19 chips home to try again at Gen Con.

Out of 75 total pulls I got no URs. I did get 3 of the Charms out of 57 2018 pulls. Since people seem willing to pay $30 or so per Charm at the moment, perhaps that evens out. Or could be made to do so if I were willing to sell.
