TOPIC: Charm of Health at GenCon?

I was planning on transmuting a Charm of Health at GenCon, but I see the "Transmuted Token Redemption" page shows them as out of stock until February of 2017.

I'm assuming this means they will be unavailable at GenCon, but I wanted to double-check that it was not only for mail orders. Maybe some tokens were held back specifically for GenCon transmutations?

It is our understanding (though Jeff never actually said so) that they will not be available for transmuting at Gen Con.

They are likely to find their way into the treasure boxes I think. If I pull one I would trade it to you (and anyone else) for the 3 commons. If I had extras I would do the same till I ran out.

I might get one in the GT run, drop me a pm and I can give you my number if I get one.


TLDR: If I can get my hands on CoH I will transmute them for your 3 commons for anyone that needs them. If you are just going to sell them I ask trade with me.

I am going to have a limited supply with me at GC where I will be exchanging them for the transmutation commons. Come see me by the "big rolling treasure cart" in the story scape.

That kinda sucks... I am bringing goods to trade for 6 of them for some newbie friends that cannot attend this year. Being from Canada (International), we can normally trade a few things not normally allowed as shipping to and from the US sucks...

I am hoping this is still the case.

I will also have some and will be happy to trade for the components, however I'll mostly only be trading on Wednesday due to my volunteer schedule.

I think it's deeply unfortunate that the transmute item which was designed to entice new player interest in the transmute program was entirely consumed by established token collectors, thereby defeating the point of the token entirely.

Agreed, however I also know that many (probably the majority) of the Charms of Health did go to newer players, or at least players new to transmuting. It just happened before GenCon. It isn't that good of a token for Nightmare runs that most of the big collectors run at.

Hopefully a stash was kept for Gen Con and Gamehole, since the purpose was to introduce people new to tokens to transmuting, and transmuting is just closed for mailing.

I didn't even transmute one. If the CoH aren't available for transmuting at GenCon for new players/transmuters, if I come across any, I will exchange them for the common items as well at my Token Trader at GenCon.
