TOPIC: Did you roll a 00?

In my experience the chances of finding a UR are truly 1.2 out of every 120 packs. I don't think I have ever purchased a $1k order without finding at least one UR. I don't think I've ever received fewer than 9 URs nor more than 10 URs in an $8k order.

I think (but have no proof) that Jeff uses a method (or the factory does) where literally every 100th 10-pack has a UR. So if you order 30 packs then it just depends on where in the sequence you hit. If this is the case it is not really random as to which packs have URs but it is random who gets them. I have no idea if Jeff is aware which packs have URs in them or not.

I've actually received an 8k order that got below its expected UR amount.

2 years ago, I got 8k in June....no random URs. 0 in the packs
Yet 3 years ago , I spent 4 k , got 2 random URs and 2 GTs
So it can be great or bad. Just never know

I feel like I have probably had one or two exceptions as well. I suspect it could be a result of human error at some point and it means the theory may still be valid in general.

What Jeff has said in the past about this is that they (Jeff and Co not the factory) do go into every 100th pack and put in the UR. When the factory was doing apparently the distribution was awful, so Jeff and Co started doing it by hand. I don't know that is how it is still done, but that is what was said a couple years ago.

I believe you are correct and they are added by hand.

Got a $500 pack, my random UR was Redoubt mail. Meh, nothing I really wanted.

Nope. At this point, I'm up to 2 condensed packs and a little under 200 ten-packs in my True Dungeon career without a single 00 (apart from the automatic one in a condensed pack). To be fair, the condensed packs only bring my equivalent total to about 220-230 of the normal 10-token packs.

I HAVE pulled 00s from treasure chests at least, but just completion tokens and potions of distilled healing.

I think this is my record in ordering. I may have years 2 and 3 reversed.

2011 tokens first order $250 got a 00.

2012 tokens ordered $2500 extra 00. Same year I either twice $1000 and $500 or just once for $1500. Either way no extra 00.

2013 tokens order $4000 no extra 00.

2014 tokens ordered $2000 no extra 00.

2015 tokens ordered $2000 no extra 00.

2016 fifth year ordered $2000 no extra 00.

No GT's either.
