TOPIC: Gencon 2013 - How were your Pulls?

52 pulls, slightly more than half of which were from "gear".

Charm of Heroism

Was glad to at least get a set of the monster trophies.

Around 45 pulls. Split between boxes, little bit heavier on ingredient box I believe.

Lots of reds, few uncommons.

Had a friend do 2 runs for the first time at GenCon. 5 pulls all from Loot box.

There should never ever ever EVER EVER be treasure boxes with that level of transmuted relics in them again.

Not with the number of pulls that we get with all of the greed tokens out there..

I completely, maybe UR but never transmuteds, it make all the work others put in for naught.

I had 12 pulls. I think I did fairly well. I got:
Girdle of Frost Giant Strength
Ring of Focus
+2 Keen Scimitar

I had 18 pulls, 3 ingredient tokens and that was it.
From the rest of my 2 group runs that ran we had a few more ingredient tokens, but no relics or URs. Got a ton of green scrolls and reds...

I want to put in another vote for the "no relics in treasure boxes" rally.

It was somewhat pleasant to pull a Charm of Heroism from the treasure box...but it made me upset, too. In fact, I was more disappointed than pleased. Can I return the one I worked to create and get my 3 Might items back?

Jeff posted that someone selfishly turned in their Arcane recipe so the treasure box would be great this year. That is why The treasure was as it was

I am not gonna lie, if that is true I owe that person a drink. That was a awesome thing. Now if it was gonna happen every year I am on the bandwagon of it not occurring, but if they turned in the arcane recipe to make it happen one year I am fine with that.

Whirt's (Special) Treasure Pulls: There was some controversy here -- mainly due to lack of communication from me. It was designed to be a surprise as a gift from a long-time TD fan who wanted to give all of TD a selfless gift. It was a one-time thing brought about by the sacrifice of the last Arcane Recipe token. NOTE: The person did not know exactly what would happen...only that he would make thousands of TD fans smile in 2013 with his sacrifice. No special treasure will be available in 2014.

I'm sure you meant selflessly - and that was a VERY generous thing for someone to do! And that person did indeed make thousands of people very happy - how many people can say they've done that?
