TOPIC: Price Fluctuations

I've seen lots of comments about URs in the treasure pulls. We did 2 events and no one in either our groups pulled any purples. Was there a special chest that they were in? Was this only on certain days? We did all our treasure pulls at the store just outside the exit area.

They were in the gear chest, I had 35 pulls and I pulled purple on the 33rd pull. Some just got luckier than others with them.

I will not be trading many of these until the 4c(it could just be 3C because I think 3 year story arc) is out.
I have a feeling the creeper thorn prices will be nothing compared to them(if the combo is good)

Are the monster bits from this year a start of for a 3c/4c? Are last years (2012) monster bits part of any future build?

i can assume this years are..i dont remember reading it anywhere..but new story, so figured it has to be

Hard to say for sure, the Ring of heroism comes out in 2015 too so that might just be our 4c but really we don’t know yet. My advice would be to bank a set of this years monster bits just in case.

i made a few sets. I will bank a few, sell some
cross my fingers that they will be as good a creeper thorn a few years ago

Pure speculation. If there isn't a 4c then the most they have been worth in the past is 250gp.

I'm tring to match up my set but other than that i'm not too concerned.

As for pulls, I pulled 30 from the "good" box and didn't get anything other than some random rares. I believe it was 1 in 40. Monster bits were just as rare, I pulled 30 from that box and picked a few.

Hmm, I guess I was lucky then. I had 17 pulls from the "good" box and got 2 purps and 1 pull from the trophy box and got a monster bit.

The Ring of Heroism as the 4C would be very anti-climactic, given how many were pulled this year....

I don't think the Ring of Heroism will be a 4C, Jeff has already posted the proposed recipe for it. I don't have a link, but I remember it includes participation tokens over three years starting this year.
