TOPIC: Value of Token Pulls?

Value of Token Pulls? 11 years 8 months ago #1

What would you say the average value of a token pull from the dungeon treasure chests is worth? Does it vary highly from year to year or is it fairly consistent? Would you say the pull token is more valuable or the token you get out of the pull?

What about the other chests you can pull out of? I believe treasure map pulls are from a different chest, what is the value of those token pulls? What about the abjurers chest pulls?

Just trying to gain a better understanding of True Dungeon and the value of things in game to help me decide how much to invest in the game (is a Ring of Riches really worth it). Thanks in advance

I look at it this way. If a run costs $38 and a token pack from the store costs $7.99 you have $30 of costs left in the run and best case 3 treasure stamps so I put them at about $10 of value each. That seems inline with most of this years monster parts being available for sale at around $11 plus or minus. Given that most PYP ultra rares can be had (in the off season at least) for around a hundred bucks I justified the RoR as paying for itself in 3-4 runs which I was able to get in this year. Whatever the ring generates next year or from then on words should be pure profit. There's some variance in that given you might pull an UR, gp, or a less then useful rare but over all that's how I like to think of the standard boxes.

Treasure map boxes on the other hand tended to very a great deal in terms of quality this year depending on when you got to them but then again its all up to chance at that point right.

TLDR: All in all I feel like mine paid for itself this year and I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Wow, Picc. What treasure boxes are you pulling from?

Most of my 37 pulls were commons. I think only 2 or 3 were uncommons, 1 rare (Earcuff of Salvation), and 1 monster token. :(

I would gladly trade 10 pulls for a good UR.
If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to set it up for 2013!
