The modules and ROSP4 have arrived.
Of all the traits of humanity, there is only one we do not share with other species, which sets us apart and makes us unique <br />-- the ability to imagine.

Mine must still be in the mail, but I'm looking forward to getting them. My postal service is always a bit behind on TD stuff :)

Indeed, reading them over pointed out some interesting things we were fortunate enough to miss (by either luck or doing so much damage).

The sea-lich death touch attack really worries me when we face Smoak the Draco-lich. At least we know she will be immune to fire (her prior form), cold, and shock (and probably the new Darkrift Energy) so gear up for holy, sonic, and acid damage.

Only other comment was around the the whole SR for Smoak. Typically the players want to roll high, so I am guessing the number was from Smoak perspective of what she needed to roll.

Lastly reading the backstory for Lair of Sea Lich was AWESOME!!! I love knowing the background about why we did things, it also gives us some information about the pantheon that exists in TD as well as some idea of what could be possible foes in the future.

Brian Kelley did a GREAT job on the AD&D-style artwork! Big kudos to Briano!

And thanks again to Cody Jones for laying it all out in a professional manner.

Jeff,
The modules are fantastic. I am very confused by something, on the back of the modules, there are listed TD modules 1-13. I had dug through my mountain of TD stuff at home and can only find modules starting at #5 (which is in a plastic binder). Were modules 1-4 ever distributed to the public or were they only given to staff working in the dungeons?

George

PS I am just wondering if I need to totally tear my basement apart looking for the missing modules

PSS and if they were only given to staff, I bet copies would sell for a TON at next years auction.

PSSS Can I open the bidding right now at 4K?

The very first TD auction had the only copy of all 4 modules bound together in a cool book. I believe you were there, and it was won by Smakdown. Upon getting it from me, Smakdown immediately gave it to Lee Vaughn since he really wanted it. I don't know if it still exists. Lee is a bit of a vagabond.

BTW, I put a special little "thank you" into any $8K module care packages. ;)

Well, Laz, I hope you enjoy my modules and my special little thank-you bonus. I'll have to have the next year's set delivered by armored car I guess ;)

Love the modules (this is my first year buying enough tokens for them). It really took me back to my old D&D days very long ago. Very nice work! Between getting the modules yesterday and all the Halloween candy, I was on a high all night!
