I'm hoping for a single page (possibly 2 sided) which could be available as a download in the "Resources" section of this website, and could be printed off by token sellers and given for free to new players or prospective traders. If you walk through the token trader's area, and 2 or 3 merchants refer you to the same rough guide, you get a feeling that people are on the same page, and the market is relatively stable. Then you can look at individual merchants' trade rates and see, yeah, this guy is pretty close to what the guide says... that guy is pricing his rares a bit high but his commons a bit low... and the guy over there is trying to rip people off, charging 200 GP for common armour.

This is an admirable goal. But with the sheer number of tokens out there, it will be challengeing to achieve. Maybe, a combination approach could be used: GP values for specific in-demand (or higher in-demand) tokens and an average GP value for other items in the same category.

For example: (GP prices listed below in no way indicate market value)
Small Steel Mirror - 10GP
Bone Scroll Case - 10GP
All other common gear - 5GP

Just when I was wondering what to do with all these Rares/Uncommons that have been piling up over the years...

This is perfect. I'd love to participate in any way that I can.

Yeah, challenging indeed. Which is why the rough guide didn't quite materialize this year.

I kinda like what you are suggesting with the commons listed above... and for Commons I think it could work... but when it comes to Rares, there's so many tokens that are worth widely varying amounts, that it gets really complicated.

I was trying to generalize a lot. Like, "Expect healing to cost approximately 25GP per point healed. So a Cure Minor Wounds potion might cost 25 GP, but a Potion of Siren Wine (8 pt heal) could cost 200+ GP"

Maybe I should start a new thread and post what I had so far, so people can give feedback (and rip my poor project to shreds as they point out its myriad inaccuracies ; )
