I've seen that equipping the trio of might will raise your character by one level this year, and looking at the 5th level character cards it seems like a very powerful buff. What I'm curious to know is if this combo power will remain in effect during years to come or if it's just for this year alone?
For my money, it is the most powerful set, and probably a very satisfying and excellent addition if you're looking to play TrueDungeon for years to come- because it is a 5th level bump, and there many ways to mix and match set items, it is flexible, and should always be useful. I'm expecting it hold its trade value as well.
It is, however, a sizable investment, I would recommend you think carefully about the benefits between 4th and 5th level, perhaps comparing the character sheets two side-by-side. Some classes are no-brainers (A free reincarnation for a Druid? Awesome!) and some are perhaps not.
For example, I typically play a Rogue. This year, I am not going to wear my Might Set. Instead, I'm going to lend it to our Cleric; I think the additional spells he'll gain will be more useful to the party than my ability to flank.
