Our Nightmare run was the final run of the evening, after an epic duel in which despite losing 3 party members we defeated Smoak, the GM's in the turned the lights on and let us take group shots in front of Smoak, and standing on his hoard. I have one where the dragon is leaning forward and I'm standing there kissing him, and he looks like he is trying to kiss me back. It was awesome, probably against the rules, but we took nothing from it other then even better memories and a few pics to remember them.

yes we did. The rope was encase the barbarian and fighter missed the strength check

I threw a universal solvent on the Gelatinous Cube... and it dissolved a good deal ;)

We tried to argue our fighter out of the cube because he was wearing Boots of Free Action. A Freedom of Movement spell (in 3.5 D&D) allows automatic success to escape a grapple, and characters engulfed by a cube are considered grappled. What's more, the boots
"grant the wearer immunity to Hold and Slow spells or effects, as well as a spider's webbing or similar sticky substances".

But it was fun to accidentally hit the fighter anyway.

As silly as it may sound, my favorite time in TD is when the DM goes for creativity... and with as many runs as these phenomenal people oversee that is no small accomplishment ;)

My party's DM said the cube was too big for the solvent to have much effect.

Dissolving the cube, what a cool idea. Last year I carried a bunch of different gear to see if I could use any but did not really think of any uses for the stuff, just not enough time in each room. I really should have thought more before my second runs to see if any of the stuff would have helped, it would have been fun to use the gear in a creative way.

I do think we need Duct Tape gear though, duct tape fixes everything :laugh:
