So, the Amulet of Wonder has a different kewl/cool effect each year.  Last year it was resolved toward the end of the season, so I am suggesting we start talking about it now and see what comes up.<br /><br />The first year it came up it was +1 level.<br />Then at true realm, depending on the dungeon, it gave the user a permanent token they could use - Necklace of Oak or Harpy Claw Amulet.<br />Then it become a dice roll with cool effects - Year 1 it was bonus to AC, Saves, HP, and Double Horn of Plenty<br />This year it was a different dice roll with cool effects- Bonus to Reflex Save, Bonus Hp, immunity to fire, and double horn of plenty.<br /><br />So...what do we want to suggest for 2011?

I am going to submit a suggestion directly to Jeff for this one as well... its better if it's a surprise right?
Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.

Perhaps it could bestow some sort of merfolk effect: no underwater restricitons and maybe a special token to use?

<br />That is essentially what I suggested to Jeff just now via PM. :-P I suggested they wear a seashell necklace to show they have been polymorphed into a merfolk- giving npc and monsters a cue that they can converse with the AoW wearer.<br />

<br />True, but like this year the effect was different depending on the dungeon.  So what would you suggest for EH, knowing that enough elements will change such that there will be XP given even if you did it before.

I would suggest for both dungeons:<br /><br />Amulet of Wonder may duplicate any other neck slot item in the game (except HoP if it needs exclusion).

If we're looking for one effect across both, how about one level of multiclassing? <br /><br />You get your pick of multiclassing into: <br /><br />
  • Cleric (1st level Divine spells, +1 Will)<br />
  • Wizard (1st level Arcane spells, +1 Will)
  • <br />
  • Fighter (1x Power Attack, +1 or 2 hp, +1 Fort)<br />
  • Rogue (Sneak attack, may attempt traps, +1 Ref)
<br /><br />These would be available in small card form to clip to your main class player card.<br />
