What if Jeff threw in -5 Acid damage as well?  Now how much would you pay?<br /><br />Personally, I'm at least moderately interested in this ring, but first I need to get the three other elemental ring (I only have Fire, currently). <br />

I think it's pretty kewl.  Can't get it myself, though - don't have ANY of the rings of EC.<br />

Sorry...I had to type that in fast before running out to buy an air conditioner.  Our central air is out!<br /><br />I updated the text to be more clear.  Basically it is like the other rings, only it does "eldritch" damage to the monster.<br /><br />This will be the first of a new class of tokens called Eldritch tokens, and they will be colored orange.  The Eldritch tokens will, in fact, create more set powers as the years go by.  The Rod of 7 Parts combo will be another Eldritch token.  The first set power should come into existence when someone has this Ring and the Rod.  Additional powers will be granted for each successive Eldritch token added.  <br /><br />The 2009 Fire ring is available for about another $1,000 in 2010 token sales.  Email or PM me if you want to grab any of the last of the 2007-2009 URs.<br /><br />

It's not hard to see why people would want to know set powers ahead of time. This eldritch set will have cost 11 URs by the time its done, without anyone knowing if it's worthwhile for the cost until it'll be way too late.

The completed Rod of 7 Parts set power will be published in advance, and you won't be required to turn them in, of course.  You can elect to keep them and not make the Eldritch Rod of 7 Parts.  You won't get the single item effect, nor will you have the chance to get an Eldritch Set power with the Eldritch Supreme Ring of Elemental Command -- but you will be able to enjoy the 7 different effects of the 7 Rod segments.<br /><br />The Supreme Ring of Elemental Command will be available for more than just one year...so you don't have to spend anything...at all...unless you want to do so.<br /><br />

I agree with Henwy.  I'm a little confused as well.  I too thought you had to turn in the rod segments to recieve the completely assembled rod.<br /><br />Kim

Sorry...I am in too big a rush today!<br /><br />If you think the Supreme Ring of Elemental Command is not for you...that is cool.  No worries.  I am not showing up at your door with a crossbow and then forcing you to trade for it.  So long as supplies last, you can trade in your 4 different Rings of Elemental Command for the Eldritch Supreme Ring of Elemental Command.  It is up to you.<br /><br />The completed Rod of 7 Parts set power will be published in 2014, and again...I won't come to your door and force you to give me the 7 parts you have collected for a Eldritch Rod of 7 Parts.  You can keep them and enjoy the 7 different effects, or you can choose to trade them in for an Eldritch Rod of 7 Parts.  Again, it is up to you.  This item will also be available as supplies last, so perhaps you can wait until 2017 to make an Eldritch Supreme Ring of Elemental Command and/or a Eldritch Rod of 7 Parts -- so long as the tokens are available.<br /><br />You will need both Eldritch items to get the first Eldritch set bonus, however.  I have an idea of what that power will be, but much can change until 2014.  <br /><br />Cool?
