(personally, I really like the idea of the Eldritch items- they're as close I'll ever come to owning an artifact!)

I notice in your post above you said that no Monster Trophy Tokens would be needed to create the Supreme Ring. Does that mean that perhaps the Golden Fleece Token shouldn't be required to make the Ring, since that is essentially 10 Monster Trophy Tokens?

My impression is that Jeff meant that no specific Monster Trophy Token would be required. So people wouldn't have to hold on to X copies of each trophy, just in case that particular one was required to make the Supreme Rods. (That leaves open the possibility of requiring a Golden Fleece, which is one of the trade items). Only Jeff knows for sure though, so I look forward to his response.

Has it been said yet if the Supreme Ring of Elemental Command will be available next year since the final elemental ring will be available?

I haven't seen it explicitly said. But, I'm also not on the Lord/Ladies section and I know a lot gets said there first.

I hope it does become available next year, I want my Captain Planet powers.

Not very much gets said on the Lords/Ladies forum, so you're not really missing anything. The last post (other than an Ebay listing by Mike Steele) was over a month ago.
