Couldn't (Shouldn't) the tables have a gutter and backstop around them to help eliminate this sort of problem?  Just a backstop would prevent slide offs, but with a gutter as well, this could stop all but the most violent of slides from getting lost.<br /><br />Or they could just start making the tokens with an RFID inside, and then the DMs could have a tracker...

after I slide I go down to the end of the board and make sure nothing falls off. As long as one person does this tokens will not be lost off the board

<br />a lot of times it is up against a wall and a side of a wall(if I remember) so one person can stand at the side next to the DM. If both sides are open..2 people can do it
