TOPIC: Question from a newbie

Hello<br /><br />I played True Dugeon at last year's Gencon and had a blast!  This year I thought I would try for some extra tokens but I was curious what I am supposed to do with the ones that just say 5 GP on them.  (like the 10 GP Flint Nodule one).<br /><br />Thanks!

<br />you can use them to trade with people(some are after gold). The gold can be used at auction. There is an auction of TD things during Gencon.

Well, there are people that will trade you things for gold. Also, you could hold on to it if you decide to try and make any of the combo tokens.  Those typically have a gold cost associated with them.<br /><br />Kim

You can also mail them to me as a charitable donation.  I SWEAR they will go to a good cause. 

i ran TD for first time last year, had a blast. This year I'm a glutten for punishment for signing up for two nightmare runs, any ideas for tokens needed to survive, will probably play barbarian or monk or fighter. Any suggestions will be appreciated

<br />lots of healing, any UR's you can get, and fire resistance ring, i am sure there is more

Well -- here's my two cents -- healing, ring of fire resistence, things that will help your saves (especially reflex save) and items that can do damage to red dragons (frost/acid/electricity).  Just food (no pun intended) for thought.....Peace.

I did get the spear of dragon slaying in my first order, got another 250 order in now, maybe will get ring of fire resistance, should have plenty of tokens to choose from or for trade, Still hoping to get GT.
