TOPIC: Re: Ingredients instead of 10 packs?

Very true; it only works if there is enough to guarantee they don't run out. I'm sure that is a number that Jeff can come up with based on the number of players drawing treasure and the number of possible stamps.

If a change is made, the value of the newer trophy tokens will certainly go down, but I don't see a problem with that. Maybe the first year some people get all trophy tokens and try to sell/trade them, but once everyone can get one if they want, the secondary sales will go down and the incentive to take only those tokens as treasure will also go down.

For me, I think the main incentive here and why these differ from regular tokens and trading is that trophy tokens seem like something I should be able to get in the dungeon for defeating the monsters I encountered. It shouldn't be random that I get a trophy for it. Since TD has eliminated giving out tokens in-dungeon (a good thing mostly) the only option is to do it at the treasure desk. If I don't draw any, then I'm going to end up having to come up with some good trades or cash to get the tokens I felt like should have been easy to get.

And by the way, I'm not personally that concerned about it. I don't have a problem trading/buying the ones I need. I'm just thinking of what will give the majority of players the best feeling leaving TD. I've walked away from the dungeon too many times after my reward or treasure pull thinking "Meh." I keep coming back anyway because that's not what it's about for me, but I don't think it should be overlooked as a way to improve the event for everyone.
