So, now that is has been revealed that the two parties running the seperate adventures simultaniously have a combined goal... how might that effect your strategies? Inter-party planning?

Talk amongst yourselves.

(I'm in Olympia, WA for work for two weeks so my forum time is rather limited. :( )

Stuart,

Not sure who you were asking - but I have .02

I would say if the two parties have time they can trade tokens amongst each other, as well as purchase what the majority thinks will be needed...

ANYONE notice OR suspect that heal potions will be harder to come by - I mean the one potion was changed to a scroll which only (divine) chars can cast...it looks like my wand of healing will not be up for trade afterall. (follow me halfling I can fix that boo boo.) ;)

I suspect lots of weapons will be sold or traded for heal potions.

But I digress...

The two groups could put all their heads together and discuss overall group strategies - such as when to heal, and how - marching order - etc. - all the stuff we have been posting here...but it is ultimately decided by the group individuals.

Anyone seeing the two groups running the dungeon as sort of a play on the survivor TV show? I wonder what really happens when both tribes get face to face???

Gary, I've seen you referrence a potion changed into a scroll. What potion is that? I see a "Cure minor" (common) potion, a "Cure Light" (rare) scroll, AND a "Cure light" (ultra rare) potion. Was there another "cure" potion?

Anyway, from what I can ascertain, the two groups will be seperate, until they get to the final chamber. The final puzzle/combat/whatever will be solvable by one group alone, but if both groups make it, I expect the clues from each dungeon combined will make the final room quite a bit easier. Just a guess of course.

I don't see it changing my strategy much though. I'm still going to do all I can to reach the final room, and hope to hell the other party makes it as well! :)

Balkin,

From the 2004 run there was a rare potion - I don't have the token pictures with me at work today...I miss them so, I am thinking of a tatoo!

But there was a potion that all classes could use - which when I looked at each token change for the 2005 run - I noticed it was no longer a potion but a scroll instead.

I will double check my work tonight when I get home.

Thanks,
