I heavily utilize the Recent Topics list and then open each of the links for each new posts in separate tabs. The superscripted links for new posts are microscopic. I'd love it if that were bigger. I'm using the current version of Firefox (41.0.2) on Windows 7.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

The video preview turns into a thin ribbon in landscape, which also cuts off an occasional letter on the right margin, but looks ok in portrait (which sometimes cuts off the video preview to the right.

If these minor nuisances cannot be fixed, I would still prioritize performance over mobile.

The mobile look will improve this afternoon. We are tweaking that then.

Oh good, I was afraid. Forums currently look awful on my Android.

This is what I mean:

Also, images are not previewing. All I see is the code when I insert an image and have [Preview] turned on.

Correction: I can't insert an image.

Ahh, I see it now. Specifying the image size is what's breaking the ability to insert images.

If you click on the icon in the second column (which is a square in your pic), you go right to the first unread post. That's a lot easier than clicking on that tiny link (which I actually missed the first time I went to the Recent Topics page, which I also use pretty much exclusively).

Except, on iPhone, the third column is the first column (portrait or landscape). But Jeff said tweaks were coming

On mobile, is there an easier way to see if I have private messages? I needed to go into my profile to see if I had any (I did). Did I miss something?

Good suggestion. We are working on it. We will get it on the main page if possible.
