TOPIC: Thanks to the volunteers and the players

Just wanted to say thank you to our volunteers and players for a great event.

Everyone involved with the event worked very hard and did a great job. We also managed to have a lot of fun along way, which makes the hard work easier. As usual, we had a mix of veteran volunteers and first timers. This con especially, the veterans did a great job of taking on a leadership role and helped the new folks be very successfull. I saw lots of volunteers putting extra effort in on small details that really enhanced the overall experience. I love it when someone comes up and says something like "Hey wouldn't it be cool if we..." Great job everyone and we appreciate your efforts. You guys were awesome and we couldn't do it without you!

Thanks also to the players for participating and for caring so much about the event. Just like the volunteers doing extra, it is nice to see the players interested enough to kick ideas around on the bulliten board and to take the time to share their experiences. A player in a different thread said it was nice to be remembered. I think if you talk to the DM's you will find that all of them have a story or two about cool things their parties did that they really got a kick out of. We have fun running this event and that due in large part from the players having such a good attitude and enjoying the event. Like I said above, everyone puts in a lot of long hours on this event and it makes us feel good when someone takes the time to say they enjoyed the event or that the DM in such and such room was great. Thanks for playing and we look forward to seeing you all next time!
