Slot expanders, if balanced to the slot/rarity appropriately, are a good thing.
Characters that have access to a legendary amulet and use Bracers of Guided Strike might appreciate an alternative charm slot expander.

I like this idea, and it would be interesting to see if it would replace a strength or viper strike belt.

How about an Ioun Stone that adds to ranged and/or spell damage, along the lines of Ioun Stone Infernal Fire Prism?

Just because I like my other authors Jim Butcher inspired.

how about a "spirit of intellect" Soltless- Gain the rogue clue or bardic knowledge 1/x game, usable by all except Rogue and Bard.

Or alternatively, allowed to fail a puzzle once without taking damage from failure (if failure is anything other than HP loss, the effect still happens)

Niche enough to be used, definitely not OP imop

Other things I would like to see

Quiver of elements, choose an element in the coaching room, your ranged attacks now use that element

Figurine of the Hero, Maximize damage on one non critical hit 1x per game (maybe a transmute to allow crits to be maximized)

Lenses of the Master scholar, double the effect of any scroll read by this character.

Belt of the Mongoose, +4 Dex -1 Strength

There aren't a lot of sacrifice spells to create a transformation effect. Druid coronet is an example.

Could check off all 0-level spells in training room (UR players don't likely care about training room) for some sort of dungeon wide buff. Or, 1st level spells. Or, N number of spells of some level.

It does sound kind of clunky in practice, so maybe go with something more like coronet where it's one room player option.

Shirt of Divine Aid
Cleric, Druid
Sacrifice two 1st-level spells. Party members gain +2 saves, +2 to hit, & heal 10hp.

That seems kind of boring, it's just converting spells into other spells. More interesting and also more applicable to wizards than healing would be creating a continuous damage reduction effect for the room. That also could be used against puzzle damage. Would be a larger effect than the (base) healing output that could be generated with same slots.

Another possibility is saccing spells for resurrection, but that's weird thematically in that it's a much higher level effect than 4th/5th level clerics/druids, yet, yet, we have potions all over the place this year which will bring someone back.

Can go the other way, too, which would be highly Grind relevant. Do like Crown of Expertise but focus more on restoring spells (all 0-level, for instance). Of course, the problem with unchecking boxes is that a lot of the black marks don't rub off.

Only vaguely a UR level effect but could have a token decrease one save to increase another by significantly more (kind of like messing with Dex/Con but different design space and less OP). This gives players an opportunity to either balance saves or unbalance them to their interest. I've played a paladin with a 27 Dex Save. +5/-2 to move to, say, Will ... is probably so irrelevant to UR level players that it would never get used.

I'd like to see paladin get to cast spells, something that is probably not around the corner. That's tricky, of course, to implement through a token.

Figurine of Power: Honey Badger
Set hp to 1pt if Push damage would kill wearer

Can do similar thing with puzzle damage.

Was mentioned as something for barbarian, but could generally create MEC like effects for melee/missile types (especially melee).

Maybe not an UR effect (though maybe is to prevent widespread use) - solve a puzzle triggers benefit, like healing (duplicating scroll effect from last year) or restoring abilities/spells (black mark problem) or resurrection (limit this a lot, also kind of more relevant below UR level).

That's what FoP Cricket does, I believe.

Are there any effects that provide a benefit immediately following being hit? Retribution is a thing, but that's not really what I'm envisioning.

It might be cool if a token existed where immediately after you're damaged by an attack / effect from a monster your next attack was powered up - either to-hit or damage.

What would the relic and legendary look like?
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

Hmm... Ya know, when I tossed that out there, it wasn't even in the context of the Monk transmute, but since you suggested it...

Relic - Monk only - Necklace of Serene Thoughts - +12 Wis, +3 Int, Activate Stunning Fist on 19
Legendary - Monk only - Someone's Necklace of Supreme Serenity +12 Wisdom, +5 Int, Activate Stunning Fist on 19 and use a second time during combat

The only issue I have with reprinting the might set is the fact that there will already be a +level token already in print

I completely agree.

Also, I thought when we started with the Charming set that we had eliminated the might set from reprint contention? If not, that's great news.

Only HoP and AoTF are really off the table. I was really only proposing one new Might token, since Boots and Scepter of Might are readily available at PYP or lower prices on the secondary market. It would be a nice level boost for those that don't want the disadvantages of the current option.

I support the theory, but I think Thor's Hammer is an exact example of what we should avoid. The stat chosen wound up being a minimal limiter on classes that previously weren't able to use a melee/ranged weapon of that strength, and is more of a limiter on classes that traditionally wielded weapons of that power level.

+1 to what Fiddy said.

As for a new UR... Redoubt Grieves. I wanna get decked-out in redoubt! :cheer:
