TOPIC: What is your favorite pancake topping?

I agree!  100% real maple syrup.  There is no substitute.

This is great news. Looks like I'm going to have to hit up the local pancake place to celebrate. Maple Syrup is where its at.

I love real maple syrup... used to help collect sap with my uncle who was a modern day "mountain man"... learned to smoke fish, tan hides, etc. I even love maple syrup in my coffee sometimes.  =D

As a New Englander, it's got to be Vermont maple syrup for me.<br />

<br /><br />I still haven't converted you to Grade B syrup.  Grade A is for the tourists <br /><br />In honor of Pancake Day I present a cool picture below of me holding my 4 year old up in the steam in a sugarhouse last spring.  We had a massive ice storm here a month or so ago so I don't know what the crop is going to be like this year - a lot of sugarbushes have announced that they are not going to tap this spring because all their tubing is ruined.<br /><br /> <br /><br /><br />

<br />OK, who's the wise guy that voted bacon??<br /><br />For me, I'd rather have artificial syrup (SACRILEDGE, I know!).  Just haven't acquired a taste for the real stuff.  Go Mrs. Butterworth's!!<br />

I can't argue and I can't blame you. Maple syrup is just to good.

What about just plain - or plain with butter?

I like strawberry topping...or blackberry.
