TOPIC: Offers coming in

Thank you to those who sent their love and good wishes.<br />My position was terminated a week ago Friday.  Just weeks before that, I was in contact with lawyers regarding filing bankruptcy.<br /><br />Once I started looking outside my company, I had a handful of offers within two weeks.<br />If all works out well, I may be able to pay off debt the old fashioned way (hard work!) instead of asking the government to excuse me from it.<br /><br />I may not be buying hoards of tokens any time soon, but things are looking up.<br />If I accept a position outside my company, my vacation time will greately decrease.  It is likely that I will not be able to come to Gen Con (which is sad, as it's much closer to home than True Realm), however, I hope to at least make it to True Realm once a year - although perhaps as a full-time player in 2010 instead of a FT Volunteer.<br /><br />Thank you all and please keep your fingers crossed that all works out the way I hope in the next two months.

I apologize to any who consider that a rough statement. I'm just concerned about the election and where the country will go after tomorrow. Sorry for letting politics slip in.
