TOPIC: HEY! What are you doing?

OK...a new "what are you" thread...<br /><br />Please post thing(s) you are doing fairly close to the current moment in time....and try to post pictures so we can follow along.<br /><br />I'll go first...<br /><br />Tonight, I'm MOLDING!  <br /><br />Kids have been good, and wifey gave me the OK - so I did some mold stuff out in the garage tonight...see below:<br /><br />These BLUE rocks from Pluto are actually my first try at making my own molds.  It seems the Warlock house terrain base I plan to make needs me to fabricate fake rocks using a rubber mold I make myself.  Pretty fun actually!  I even had some spare rubber stuff to make a mold of a tombstone which I might have to use here and there...in the background is the tombstone mold made using legos to make the walls of the mold - and a Spooky Town accessory as the main piece.<br /><br /> <br /><br />OH yes - I cast my new mold #51 (on the right) 4-5 times tonight so I am now half way to having all the blocks needed to make my new project - the DRAGON INN!!!  <br /><br /> <br /><br />Here are the pieces from mold #51 and 80...that I made tonight!<br /><br /> <br /><br />Here are the instructions for the Dragon Inn as well as the floorplan which I pasted down to the side of a cereal box! (center, background)<br /><br /> <br /><br />Here is the base I hot-wired (cut) out from some really cool insulation-foam board I got at Lowes the other day!  Can't wait to make the terrain for the Warlock house - since the house has a yard complete with a stone wall and walkway!<br /><br /> <br /><br />OK that's what I am doing tonight!  How about you?<br /><br />G

I was at a wine tasting festival with Jen for her b'day.

I went to see Tina Turner on Saturday.  (holy yikes - for as old as she is, that woman can still ROCK!)<br /><br />I went bowling with my 4-year old niece yesterday.  She insisted on using an 8 pound ball.  Hee... strong like bull!  =D

Now I am at school, during my conference period, about to enter some warning card grades.<br />

just got my new computer working. when the storms went through and flattened everything, it jumped everything back to like i just took it out of the box.  =| to make it better none of my old passwords/settings would let me do anything.<br /><br />so i had to start over fresh.  =(

<br /><br />Basically it's an unofficial report card - students and parents get an idea of how they are doing.<br />

Oh I dread opening any email from the school. Your son has dropped below 60% in the following classes : Art<br /><br /><br />ART!!! ART!!!!!!! How do you fail art? Anyway.. hooray for teenage boys, they sure do know how to listen to reason.

Went to IndyTech Fest on Saturday all those microsoft people lol.<br />Sunday was spent digging in the front yard <br />Monday was wedding dress shopping =D<br /><br />Today is work from 8-4:30 then home to catch up on Pumpkin Carving!

Currently project is a boys doublet with peplum and shoulder epaulets. Multi-tan/beige chenille fabric for the exterior, golden cotton linen-look for interior, black and gold 1/2" scrollwork trim for edges, probably gold grommets for up the front lacing.
