TOPIC: Dr. Horrible's sing along Blog

I am sure most of you have already seen this, but for those that have missed it.<br /><br /> www.hulu.com/watch/28343/dr-horribles-sing-along-blog <br /><br />This is a really, really cool 45 minute video that Josh Whedon (of Firefly and Buffy fame), his two brothers and a bunch of friends put together during the writers strike.  Not only is it a very good musical BUT it is professional quality production done without a studio.  (Showing that talented people dont need studios anymore to get there projects done) <br /><br /> Right now many of the song are stuck in my head.  This likely will be the "more cowbell" video for 2008.  <br /><br />It does start a little slow so please stick with it for the first 10 minutes, it is worth it.

<br /><br />I think they have more than enough money.  They were just bored during the strike and thought nobody would think they were scabs if they produced what they wrote themselves.<br /><br />The big money will be in the t-shirts.  =)

<br /><br />I thought part of the idea of the program was to show that the studios were not needed.  That the talent could self-produce product that would actually make money.

I plan to buy the DVD when they make it available--looks like it's going to be hilarious.

<br /><br />Yea the ending was too short.  <br /><br />Unless this is just the first 3 acts of a much longer show.   <br />I hope they have more ideas on how to continue.
