Hey - I think it beats selling snow - although there are some practical purposes to even that...<br /><br />You know some highschool or college might need that sort of thing...so there could be good intentions behind the selling and buying of such a thing.

I'm sure there may be, but well. . . I sure wouldn't want one in my house.

I think it's kind of cool.  Of course, I've always had a weird fascination, kind of a cover your eyes, but look through your fingers repulsion/interest, in mummies.

<br /><br />So, I suppose you were one of the many to watch those infamous... "Faces of Death" videos that were all the rage back in the 80s.  :O<br />

I have to admit - I went to the Museum of Death in San Diego a few times as part of a study on human behavior surrounding death.<br /><br />FoD videos were running there from open to close and seemed to be the big draw over the artifacts on display.  Just seems that sort of thing draws in people.  Sort of the hands over eyes, but peeking thing.

<br /><br />I'm sure that was in there somewhere. I don't remember them all that well, there were several and it has been many years. They came out in the mid through late 80's (high school for me). Each was a collection of "horrific and shocking" videos capturing everything from gruesome accidents, to autopsies, to other images of death. Not exactly your average flick that's for sure. Morbid and disturbing... while... "watch through your fingers" alluring.
