TOPIC: 3D resin printer recommendations

3D resin printer recommendations 6 months 3 weeks ago #1

Can anyone recommend a decent resin printer? I am not wanting to spend a ton of money, but I know the more you spend, the better item you can get.

If anyone Chas some ideas, please post here. I’m on the forums daily.

I backed one on Kickstarter for $120...got what I paid for there (VERY inconsistent prints).

Decided to buy this: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09V18YJMG and have been quite happy with my prints overall. Just make sure you hollow out the big prints because they will more than likely detach from the plate due to weight (even with thick supports)

And obligatory: Don't use it in confined spaces like I was before. The smell is very headache inducing, and it's also toxic stuff, so proper ventilation is a must!

I have an Anycubic Photon Mono 2 (on amazon and their site ). It creates fantastic detail and is easy to use, and their wash and cure machines are also great.

Here's one of the things I printed on it to get a sense of its abilities.
